Methodological Committee
Methodological Committee
The Methodological Committee is a consultative and advisory body to the President of Statistics Poland. It supports the continuous improvement of methodologies applied in statistical surveys and, consequently, contributes to the quality of official statistics.
The Committee is composed of representatives from the academic community who make a significant contribution to the development of methodology, ensuring the high quality of statistical surveys conducted within the official statistics system in Poland. Cooperation with the scientific community reflects implementation of Principle 7, “Sound Methodology”, of the European Statistics Code of Practice.
